You can also change the email address your notifications go to in the General tab of settings. If you'd rather use Discord, Pushbullet, or Pushover instead of email, reach out to me directly and I'll help you switch.
📺 Recommended apps
Jellyfin supports lots of third-party apps on different platforms. Here's what I recommend:

If you don't have a streaming player and your TV doesn't have an official app, I recommend the very inexpensive onn 4K Pro from Walmart. It's a Google TV device that supports Wholphin and Plezy, and it will perform better than virtually any built-in TV app.
If you're using a TV app and noticing poor video quality or frequent throttling warnings, switching to the onn player should fix those issues too.

Can I request a movie or show be added to the server?
Yes, there's a website for just that: requests.meatloaf-pie.com
Sign in to the request website with your Jellyfin account. After that it should be self-explanatory. Let me know if you have problems.
Are there any rules for using Meatloaf-Pie?
DO NOT SHARE YOUR ACCOUNT WITH ANYONE WHO DOESN'T LIVE WITH YOU! This server is my personal hobby and it is my decision who gets to use it. If you share your account, I will find out and delete your account.
If there is someone you'd like me to share my server with, let me know and I will consider it. Taking matters into your own hands WILL get you banned. It is my server, not yours to share. Thank you for your cooperation.
How reliable is this? Can I count on it?
For the most part, it will be quite reliable.
The biggest thing to keep in mind is that the server is running on a computer in my house. If my internet or power goes out, so does the server. If there's a hardware problem I have to fix, the server is down.
All of those should be quite rare, but together they will add up to more downtime than an official streaming service hosted in a data center. I do my best to keep it running as much as possible, but things do happen.
A good thing to check: if Jellyfin isn't working, check the Server Status above. If this page won't load at all, my internet or power is probably out, so you'll just have to wait. If only Jellyfin is down, there may be a problem with the server. Most problems can be fixed quickly and easily, so please let me know ASAP using the report form, or text me any time, day or night (I keep my phone on silent): (440) 413-7231
Do I have to type in my password every time?
Start by downloading the Jellyfin app on your phone, then enter this address for the server:
https://jellyfin.meatloaf-pie.com
Then add your username and password. That's it. Once you have the app on your phone, download apps to whatever TVs, computers, or streaming devices you want. You can then use Quick Connect to sign in to those apps without typing your password: open the phone app, tap your profile picture at the top right, then tap 'Quick Connect'.
My TV or player says I have to pay for the app. Is this true?
The official Jellyfin app is free on most platforms. If you're using a third-party app, there may be a one-time charge, which goes to the app developer, not to me. My server is completely free.
How do I add or change my profile picture?
Open the Jellyfin app on your phone, tap the circle at the top right, tap 'Profile', tap the large circle at the top left, and upload an image. Just FYI, I'll be able to see the image you upload, so I'd recommend keeping it SFW.
